Follow up Protocol for Tarlov Cyst Patients

Local patients are seen at approximately three weeks after surgery and out of town patients are seen in clinic at approximately one week after surgery and cleared for travel.

As part of your follow up from surgery, you will need to complete an MRI and post operative questionnaire at 3 months, one and two years after surgery. An additional questionnaire is requested at six months after surgery. Patients with completed surveys and MRI's will be notified of their results by Dr. Feigenbaum.

Questionnaires are provided below for convenience. They may be returned by either mail or fax.

• Sacral Cyst post-operative survey
• Thoracic Cyst post-operative survey
• Cervical Cyst post-operative survey

Follow up for Lumbar Fusion patients

Patients are seen at three weeks and three months after surgery with x-rays. Patients are seen again at six months with a CT.

Follow up for Cervical Fusion patients

Patients are seen at three weeks and three months after surgery with x-rays.

Follow up for Discectomy and Laminectomy patients

Patients are seen at three weeks and three months after surgery.
